1993 - Dilophosaurus

A personal ongoing homage to my favorite creature design in film.
I’ll be drawing what I consider the coolest creatures (and the occasional robot or costume) in films (and sometimes tv) from every year since the 90’s to the present.

I loved how the Stan Winston team moved away for accuracy but in a cool and creative direction with this dino. In later movies scientific accuracy is ignored but to lackluster results, with the real animals being weirder and more interesting than the more generic looks they end up with (mosasaurus for example).
