Draco is pretty much the only movie dragon in the decade worthy of note. And it is what you would expect from a dragon in the 90s: a very busy design (just look at it) that is computer animated. A very ambitious thing to animate at the time, specially because it was the first CG character in life action. If you look past thedated CGI, his design is pretty cool, you can appreciate it more in the maquettes. ⁣

Jurassic Park made this movie possible and I believe you can clearly see the how the dragon design was informed by dinosaur morphology. Specially in the position of the limbs straight beneath the body and the shape of the hind quarters. But also the face shape similar to that of a T. Rex and the ceratopsian-looking horned crest. Some aspects of this design have echoes in later movie dragons, I find.
